Review: am not sure you can see from the pictures but these have a lovely scalloped front with concealed vertical hook behind. Gold plated and measure approx 1.7cm from the bottom of the scalloped shell to the bend in the ear hook. They are actually quite strong - not just thin earwires The hook at the back can be twisted open and closed to attach charms or beads..or in this case a shell. I really don't think you will be disappointed if you buy these - they are lovely.PLs like if helpful
